Cooperative Purchasing Program
By combining our collective purchasing power, the UCCOG aims to negotiate with suppliers for lower-cost supplies, equipment, fuel, energy, and services, as well as to enter into agreements that benefit each member, ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
Fiber Infrastructure
Our entities formed a partnership to share and maximize fiber infrastructure resources while reducing maintenance costs. This collaboration will drive economic development and growth for local businesses.
Partnerships for ISP Services
The UCCOG aims to partner with local ISP providers by leveraging its jointly managed fiber optic infrastructure in the Marysville area and parts of Union County, to improve ISP service offerings in our area.
Who We Are…
The Union County Council of Governments (UCCOG) is a regional council formed by local governments to promote collaboration, coordination, and planning among its members. Our council was established to tackle issues and challenges that benefit from a unified approach, such as cooperative purchasing.
Since our inception in 2012, the UCCOG has aimed to reduce the burdens on its members by (a) implementing effective business practices and shared services as part of our infrastructure and (b) functioning as a collective purchasing organization. This allows our members to leverage their combined purchasing power to secure competitive terms from vendors and service providers.
We take pride in offering publicly procured, competitively solicited cooperative purchasing contracts that enable public agencies—including state and local governments and educational institutions—to save time and money legally across the country.
